Inala Nature Tours

INALA NATURE TOURS is based on Bruny Island, an undeveloped, spectacular isle less than two hour’s drive south of Tasmania’s historic capital Hobart. Bruny is home to all of Tasmania’s endemic bird species and is widely regarded as one of the top birding hotspots in Tasmania. In addition to running tours across Australia, Inala runs shorter tours around Tasmania and Bruny Island (it is our back yard!) where we focus on Tasmania’s endemic species and the rich wildlife the State has to offer. An excellent selection of tours are available ranging from a 3hr walking tour of the 1,500 acre Inala Conservation Reserve to a three day exploration of Bruny (including night excursions) to more comprehensive customised tours around Tasmania and mainland Australia. Inala has over 26 years experience designing rewarding experiences for birders and naturalists and will happily tailor an experience according to a group or individual’s requirements and interests. Tours operate on demand and Inala caters for private tours for individuals, up to groups of 20 or more. Inala employs expert local guides who are chosen for their depth of knowledge of natural history (particularly birds, wildlife and flora) and their capacity to make their tours interesting and enjoyable for their guests. They all know where to find sought after local species and have a passion their vocation.
